Workplace Investigation Advisory

CLEAR ADVICE BEFORE THE PROCESS GOES OFF COURSE.

A complaint has been raised and you are trying to work out what should happen next.

Does it require a formal investigation? Are the allegations clear enough? Can the matter be handled internally? Who needs to be interviewed? What does procedural fairness require?

Workplace Investigation Advisory gives you independent advice before an investigation begins or while one is already underway.

What you can expect

You remain responsible for managing the matter and making decisions. My role is to help you think through the process, identify risks and make sure the investigation starts and remain, on the right track.

Advice may cover assessing the complaint, determining the appropriate response, framing allegations, defining the investigation scope, identifying relevant witnesses, confidentiality, procedural fairness and next steps.

This is practical advice based on real investigation work, not theory or a generic process document.
